one word over and over - soccer soccer soccer. I am so addicted to soccer...i guess its a good thing to be addicted only to soccer :)Germany beat poland yesterday in an on the edge of the seat game. It came down to the 91st minute (stopage time). OH I was so happy to watch germany win the game. I had watched it live and recorded it so I can watch it again. Yeah I know I am addicted to soccer. I dont have to watch the game live to be into it. I taped england vs trindad and tobago this morning due to work. I loved the game. I almost thought that trinidad would upset england but they seem to have lost it in the last 10 minutes of the game. England started to play like a team. But guess what. Tim is actually somewhat paying attention to the world cup on his own. It is exciting. He says he wants to know what I am talking about and wants to understand my interests. Isnt he so sweet. He is one amazing guy. I like him so much :)

well thats about it for now. back to a tapped soccer game

Its that time again...time for being glued to the tv at all hours of the day...the time for yelling at the tv and for being loyal to the team....it is time for the World Cup. I can't believe it is finally here. I have been looking forward to this time of the year since the last world cup. I want Germany to win. I want Germany to beat Brazil. It is pay back for Germany. You might be thinking why not the US? Well there is a logical explanation for that but I do not really want to get into it right now. All I can say is that Germany is my team and I will root for the US when they are playing but I don't think they will progress that far. Especially after today's showing against the Czech Republic. Soccer is an amazing sport. Just not many people in the US are into soccer which is very sad. Some say soccer is a boring sport. I tend to disagree. It is an amazing sport. In what sport outside of soccer do you see enemies playing on the field and have good sportsmanship. Iran is in the world cup this year. You had Iraq in the olympics. Its amazing sport. Sometimes I think the national governments could learn a thing or two from soccer :)
